The Honey Nook began from a personal place, when I became a first-time mom, I deeply felt the need for real, local connection. I looked for a space close to home where I could build relationships, share experiences, and feel part of something bigger.
What started as a desire for connection grew into a vision: a welcoming space that brings people together through community, creativity, and celebration. Whether you’re a parent, a child, or simply a neighbor, The Hive was designed with you in mind. It’s a place where families can bond, children can explore and grow, and community members can come together in meaningful and joyful ways.
The Honey Nook is a space for everyone. A place to gather, to create, to laugh, and to belong.

The idea for The Honey Nook was born out of my own journey through motherhood. I quickly learned how vital it is to find your people , your hive, during such a transformative season of life.
Before launching this venture, I spent nearly a decade in elementary education, working as a special education teacher and reading intervention specialist. My background in the classroom, along with multiple degrees and years of partnering closely with children and their families, gave me both the insight and the confidence to bring The Honey Nook to life.
At it’s heart, The Honey Nook is about connection, support, and creating a space where others feel seen and understood , values that have shaped both my personal and professional life.
